Over the course of Kail's short life, we have ended up with quite a few photo shoots. Daycare did it again and Jordan and I just can't believe how big he has gotten.

2017 Holidays
The 2017 holiday season was crazy busy, and it doesn't look like life is going to slow down anytime soon. So sorry for the delayed post.
We started off the holiday season with Thanksgiving at Aunt JaNae and Uncle Nate's house. For Kail this mostly just involved eating a whole lot of pie and not much else, opening birthday presents from grandma and playing with cousin Nora and her toys.
Christmas eve we went to Grandma and Grandpa Pace's house for dinner. Sadly mommy didn't get any pictures, but the food was great. And of course two minutes after entering their house Kail took a nose dive into Grandma Paces china cabinet. He is going to have a permanent dent in his head for how many times he has hit it in the exact same spot.
Then we headed up to Grandma and Grandpa Mitton's house. We got to play with our cousins. Mom and Dad were both feeling pretty lousy with a bad cold that was going around (mom actually had a really bad sinus infection by this point). Add that to the headache Kail had and we didn't get to stay too long.
The next morning was not something Mom and Dad expected. Beaware that when you tell a two year old that we should not open the presents under the tree, he can take that to heart. Now add the fact that Kail is a bit of a neat freak and when Jordan and I started trying to open presents, Kail told us to stop making messes and took the presents away from us so he could put them back under the tree. We ended up having to open his present for him, while he wasn't looking and THEN he would play with them. Hopefully next year he will understand a little more.
This was my favorite part of Christmas. This is how Mommy always spent Christmas when she was growing up. Playing with new toys while someone (usually Daniel) played a new video game.
New years was a lot of fun . . . we were all still sick. Kail still had a bit of a cold, and on December 30th just after sitting him down to dinner, he grabbed his ear and started screaming. So off to InstaCare we went, were we of course confirmed he had ANOTHER ear infection. Sadly the tubes are starting to come out. And then Daddy started to have some very weird breathing problems. So instead of going to church on New Years Eve, we ended up at InstaCare for a couple of hours again. Unfortunately after a couple of tests all they did was tell Jordan to go see a specialist and sent us home. At some point I mentioned to Jordan that I have this funny belief that whatever you spend New Years Eve doing, that is what you will do for the next year. So for us that was going to be . . . health problems. (Sadly as I'm writing this in February, I can say I still believe this superstition). So in an effort to negate my prediction, Jordan had us all jump in the car. He took us up to the land we are buying for our Daycare project and we let Kail run around the snowy, muddy ground. The idea as, that instead of spending 2018 sick, we would spend it there at the Daycare. It was actually a lot of fun. And really sweat of Jordan because he wasn't feeling well.
We also meet Aunt JaNae, Uncle Nate and cousin Nora down at Cabelas where they introduced us to the big fish tanks. Kail loves fish. He can't say the word yet so he just makes a kissing sound.

Next came Daddies birthday. Since Kail learned how to blow out candles on his birthday, he thought helping Daddy was a lot of fun. Sadly due to budget restraints we did not get to do as much for Jordan's birthday as i would have liked, but we did get to go see Star Wars episode 8 twice (Jordan got to go 3 times, once with me and my parents, once with Kail and I and once with Ryan). Which was good because we had to leave halfway through when we tried to take Kail, he just was not interested in being quiet.
Two years can make a big difference.
Except I believe Jordan is wearing the same hoodie.
Mom and Dad tried several times to take Kail to see Santa Claus this year. The first trip was to Farmington Station, where I have heard the Santa is awesome. Sadly after waiting around in the cold for an hour and a half and only moving about 10 feet in the line, we gave up. Kail was just getting too cold.
The next attempt at Santa was at Trolley Square. It was inside, and free. Which ended up being a good thing because of what happened. Kail was fairly close to the front of the line, but Santa was running late. As soon as Santa go there, Kail was fighting Mommy to run up to him but we needed to wait our turn. When it finally was our turn . . .we didn't want anything to do with him.
But we will be bribed with candy canes.
So we just ended up with a picture with Daddy. Who lets face it, is the real Santa anyway.

We also spent some time that weekend, running around Lowes. We were attempting to have some fun picking out finishes for the Day Care, but we really did just end up RUNNING around lowes. Kail loved it.
