6/3/15 - Its a Boy! We got to have our anatomy scan on June 3rd and as soon as she put the scanner on my stomach Jordan announces its a boy, even before the tech had a chance to look. Our little one was more shy about it later but he wanted to make sure we didn't have to wait for the annoucement. The tech snapped a whole string of pictures for us but long story short all his parts are where they are supposed to be. She pointed out all the different parts of his brain, and the four chambers of his heart and all his fingers, toes, ribs,nose, ears, and lips made an appearance. The tech informed us he is not sucking his thumb here he is just resting his hand on his head. Jordan says this will be the first of many moments where our baby smacks himself in the head over his parents. Needless to say we are excited that he seems healthy and happy. We also got our genetic quad test back and everything looks good. I have to admit my favorite part was when he wiggled and I felt it. I've been thinking I was feeling him for about a week but I wasn't sure it wasn't just my imagination. Now I know that's what that feels like and I can tell how much he moves around. It was nice that Jordan got to see him, he hasn't since we were only 7 weeks along and baby has definitely grown since then.
